Like Chris Legh who is a Two-Time Ironman Triathlon Champion and arguably the very best in the world at the 70.3 Ironman Distance, Burst Triathlon Club members have access the Triton Swim Trainer which can give them the edge over other triathletes. Chris realised the performance benefit of "doubling up" on swim workouts, but not pleased with the prospect of having to drive to the pool twice a day. A good option then for Chris was a dryland swim trainer for that supplemental swim workout - and so he did his research and chose the Triton Swim Trainer. As Chris has his swim technique perfected he uses the Triton Swim Trainer to build strength by keeping his hands on the paddles. The swim technique method of the Triton provides the high recovery with full stroke to keep the lats and shoulder muscles stretched and doing the full circle. To view Chris demonstrating both methods of using the Triton click here. The TST is to swimming what treadmills are to running. The TST is currently available to members of Burst Triathlon Club by contacting Virginia Colbran on 0418 886 045 or for members in Beenleigh phone Mike McDonald at the Go Health Clubs on 3287 3344. Visit Triton Fitness to view the benefits of the TST.
